About the player
Aziz Kholmurodov has been called into senior Uzbekistan camps in January and September 2026 and has sat on the bench for matches against Iran, Syria and South Korea. His only international caps so far are at youth level: two for the U19s, one for the U20s, one for the U21s and six for the U23s, without a goal. He was in the U23 squad for the Mirabror Usmanov Cup in 2025, where Uzbekistan met Saudi Arabia.
He is from Qarshi and came up through Nasaf, the city's club, and his father, Zafar Khalmurodov, played for Uzbekistan. Kholmurodov joined the Nasaf senior squad in 2022. He made four Super League appearances and one in the AFC Champions League that year, and in July he was loaned to Olimpik Tashkent, where he played once. A second loan, at Turon Yaypan in July 2023, brought seven appearances.
He joined AGMK Olmaliq on a free transfer on 13 January 2024. The club is also known as OKMK. In the league he has set up goals against Neftchi and Shurtan.
He has been a regular starter at AGMK. He scored twice in 22 appearances in 2024 and once in 25 in 2025. By April 2026 he had three goals in 20 appearances. His contract runs to the end of 2027.
