Abylaikhan Nazymkhanov

Abylaikhan Nazymkhanov came through the youth ranks of Shakhter-Bulat before stepping up to Shakhter Karagandy's first team, where he made 70 Premier League appearances and 92 in all competitions. The closest he has come to a trophy was the 2021 Kazakhstan Cup final, when he was sent on in the 94th minute with the score level against Kairat. The match went to penalties, and Nazymkhanov missed the decisive spot-kick as Shakhter lost the shoot-out.

He left Karagandy as a free agent in January 2025, joining Elymay, and spent part of that year on loan at Turan, where he scored once in seven appearances. Since March 2026 he has been with Altay, for whom he has played 23 Premier League matches.

Nazymkhanov has represented Kazakhstan at under-21 level, making 14 appearances between 2022 and 2024, including matches in Euro U-21 qualifying. He made his first appearance for the senior national side in February 2025, coming on as a substitute in a friendly against North Korea, though he has yet to feature in a competitive fixture for the senior team.

A central midfielder comfortable using both feet, he stands 184cm tall. His market value is currently estimated at 125,000 euros.
