Aleksandar Pejović

Thirteen goals in a single Serbian SuperLiga season is a striking return for a midfielder, and that is what Aleksandar Pejović managed in 2018–19, the peak of a first spell at Mladost Lučani that brought 97 league appearances and 20 goals in all. The left-footer had arrived at the club in 2016 and left it three years later.

He started at home. Sloga Požega, in the town where he was born, gave him his first senior football in 2006, and from there he moved through Radnički Kragujevac and then Sevojno. When Sevojno merged with Sloboda Užice in 2010, Pejović stayed with the unified club and spent four seasons there.

A season in France followed, at Trélissac in 2014–15, before he returned to Serbia with OFK Beograd. After Mladost came the most restless stretch: Dinamo Minsk in 2019, then Radnički Niš later the same year, then Sarajevo in 2020. In Bosnia he won the Bosnian Cup in the 2020–21 season.

Back at Radnički Niš, he made 83 league appearances and scored seven times across the second spell, and was named Serbian SuperLiga Player of the Week in Round 35 of the 2022–23 campaign. A second stay at Mladost Lučani, from 2023, produced 50 league games and ten goals over two seasons.

In 2025 he joined Radnik Surdulica on a free transfer — as most of his moves have been — signing until 30 June 2027. He wears number 28 and has never been capped by Serbia at senior level.
