On 22 April 2026, Alexandre Jesus scored both goals as Orenburg beat FK Nizhny Novgorod 2–1, and took the Man of the Match award. As of May 2026 he had 3 goals in 14 Russian Premier League appearances.
The forward from Nova Lima passed through a string of youth setups before anything settled: Villa-Nova in 2015 and again in 2017, Frigorário in 2016, Betim in 2018, then Cruzeiro from 2018. He made his senior debut for Cruzeiro in January 2020 and played five matches without scoring.
A free transfer took him to Fluminense in 2021. Over three years there he made 13 appearances and scored once. He was in the squad that won the 2023 Taça Guanabara and the 2023 Campeonato Carioca, though he did not play in the latter, and he was registered for the 2023 Copa Libertadores da América before being removed from the squad at the Round of 16, ahead of the closing stages.
A loan to Tombense in July 2023 gave him more of the pitch: 12 appearances, one goal.
He is right-footed and has not been capped by Brazil at senior level.
