About the player
He joined the Universidad Católica academy in 2002, moved up to the first team in 2007, and stayed on the books until 2017 — a stretch broken only by loan spells at Ñublense in 2010, where he played 17 matches, and at Huachipato in 2015–16, where he played 11 and scored twice.
Parot won five Chilean league titles with Universidad Católica: the 2016–17 Apertura, then 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2024/2025. Add the 2011 Chilean Cup and three Chilean Supercups, in 2016, 2020 and 2021.
In July 2017 he left Chile for Argentina, signing for Rosario Central in a deal worth around €374,000. He won the Copa Argentina with them in 2017–18. Universidad Católica brought him back in August 2019, buying 85% of his rights from Rosario Central; Argentine media put the figure at roughly US$700,000.
Parot made his debut for Chile in 2018, and by 2019 had five caps and one goal. That goal arrived on 10 September 2019, in a friendly against Honduras that Chile won 2–1.
He left Universidad Católica as a free agent in February 2025 and signed for Deportes Limache. In December 2025 the club confirmed an extension running to 2026.
