Anatoliy Trubin

Trubin's first involvement with Ukraine's senior side was already a record. Named for a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan on 31 March 2021, he became the youngest goalkeeper to debut for the national team, at 19 years and 242 days, taking the mark from Oleksandr Shovkovskyi.

He started out at Azovstal-2 before moving into Shakhtar Donetsk's academy in 2014. He began training with the first team in February 2019 and made his senior debut for Shakhtar on 26 May 2019 against Mariupol, playing the full match and keeping a clean sheet. Trubin made 94 appearances and won the Ukrainian league three times, along with the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup.

He moved to Benfica in the summer of 2023, with Shakhtar retaining a 40% sell-on clause; his Benfica contract carries a €100 million release clause. He made his debut for the Lisbon club on 16 September 2023 against Vizela and has since made more than 130 appearances, helping Benfica to the Portuguese League Cup and Super Cup as well as two runner-up finishes in the league.

With Ukraine, Trubin was part of the squad at Euro 2020 without playing, then became first-choice goalkeeper at Euro 2024, appearing in both group games against Germany and Belgium. He featured in Ukraine's qualifying campaign for the 2026 World Cup, though the team did not reach the finals, going out in the play-offs.
