Artem Cheredinov

Artem Cheredinov is a product of Kyzyl-Zhar's own academy, joining the youth setup in Petropavlovsk and staying there until 2016 before moving up to the senior squad the following year. His path to the first team was gradual: he spent several seasons with the reserve side, Kyzyl-Zhar M, between 2018 and 2023, before making his Kazakhstan Premier League debut for the senior team against FC Taraz in August 2020.

The midfielder's development also ran through Kyzyl-Zhar's early trophy success. He was part of the squad that finished as runner-up in the Kazakhstan First League in 2017, then returned to win the same competition in 2019, a spell that came before his top-flight debut and underlined his rise through the club's ranks.

In 2022, Cheredinov was sent out on loan to Zhenis Astana. He returned to Kyzyl-Zhar in 2023, only for the loan arrangement with Zhenis to be extended into the following season. Across his spell there he was involved in 58 matches and scored 24 goals, a productive return for a player operating in midfield. His numbers directly for Kyzyl-Zhar stand at 46 appearances and six goals, with a further 42 matches and 15 goals for the reserve side.

His long-term future was settled in December 2025, when he signed a two-year contract extension with Kyzyl-Zhar, tying him to the club that raised him through its youth system for the seasons ahead.
