About the player
Erzurumspor needed goals from their loan signing in the 2025–26 season, and Benhur Keser supplied them: eight in some 35 to 37 appearances as the club took the 1. Lig title and promotion.
The route there was long. Kayserispor took him into their youth academy in 2007 and kept him for nine years, but his first professional football came elsewhere — at Bayrampaşaspor, where he won the TFF Third League in 2017–18. Free transfers carried him on to Şanlıurfaspor and then Bandırmaspor.
The turn came in October 2020. Kocaelispor took him on loan with an option to buy and made him captain; the club exercised the option in 2021. In July 2022 Çaykur Rizespor signed him on a free four-year contract. He was part of the Rizespor side that won promotion to the Süper Lig in 2023–24.
The top flight, though, did not hold him. Rizespor loaned him out in 2025, first to Esenler Erokspor and then to Erzurum. In July 2026 he went back to where he started, joining Kayserispor permanently — the club that had raised him and then let him find his career somewhere else.
He has never been capped by Turkey at senior level. His football has been made in the 1. Lig and below, at clubs promoting rather than surviving.
