Camillo Tavernelli

Ten goals and eight assists in 39 matches: that was Camillo Tavernelli's contribution to Arezzo's 2025-26 season, which ended with the Serie C title and promotion to Serie B. He arrived on a free transfer on 27 August 2024, signing a two-year contract, and by April 2026 had 17 goals in 71 appearances for the club.

The season brought a run of local recognition. Museo Amaranto gave him the Rovesciata d'Oro; the Porta Santo Spirito neighbourhood awarded him the Cavallino d'Oro; Amaranto Magazine named him Perla Amaranto for several individual matches.

He is a left winger by trade, though he is also listed more loosely as an attacker. The route there began close to home, at Sansepolcro, where he came through the youth side and made 14 senior appearances in Serie D before leaving in 2016.

Gubbio took him on a free transfer that year and he stayed four seasons, playing 37 matches in Serie C. Cittadella signed him, again for nothing, in August 2020. Three years there produced 48 Serie B appearances and four goals.

Casertana was where the scoring started to come. He joined in September 2023 and finished with six goals in 36 Serie C matches, and it was on the back of that season that Arezzo moved for him.
