Camilo Sebastián Mayada Mesa

Camilo Mayada scored a goal in the 2013/14 final, with Danubio needing a winner, striking in extra time to give the club its first league title in its history. He was a product of the Danubio academy since his debut in 2009, and had not yet left Uruguay.

In January 2015, River Plate signed 50% of his rights, and over four seasons at the club he collected honours: two Copa Libertadores, three Recopa Sudamericana titles, a Copa Sudamericana, two Argentine cups, a Supercopa Argentina and the Suruga Bank Cup. He made 83 appearances and scored three goals in that spell.

His time at the club was interrupted in 2017, when a doping control taken during the Copa Libertadores returned positive for a diuretic. Mayada was suspended for seven months. He returned to finish out his River Plate contract before leaving as a free agent in 2019.

At international level, Mayada was capped eight times by Uruguay between his debut against Japan in September 2014 and 2018, without scoring.
