César Nicolás Fuentes González

Seven Chilean league titles, won with three different clubs, sit at the centre of César Fuentes's career. The first arrived early, with O'Higgins in the 2013 Apertura, at the club where he had turned professional and made his debut in the 2011/12 season. He stayed until 2015, playing around 120 matches and scoring once.

The move to Universidad Católica in 2015 brought four more championships in quick succession: the 2016 Apertura, the 2016 Clausura, then 2018 and 2019. He made roughly 135 appearances for the club and scored six goals.

Colo-Colo signed him for the 2020 season and kept him for five years. About 144 matches and seven goals, with league titles in 2022 and 2024. Across his career he has also collected five Chilean Supercups and two Copa Chile wins.

After leaving Colo-Colo he spent 2025 at Deportes Iquique, where he played 26 matches. He joined Deportes Limache for 2026 and has made 11 appearances so far, scoring once.

Internationally, he came through the Chilean youth sides, with 20 matches for the under-20s across 2012 and 2013. He returned to the under-23 team in 2023 for five matches and one goal, and was part of the squad that took silver at the Pan American Games that year. He has been named in a senior Chile squad, but has not yet made his debut for the full national team.
