Dušan Jovančić

The 2018–19 season was the high point of Dušan Jovančić's career: a Serbian SuperLiga title with Red Star Belgrade and a place in the league's Team of the Season. A second title followed the year after. In two seasons at the club he made 41 league appearances and scored twice.

Before that, the route up was slow. He spent his entire youth career at FK Obilić, from 1997 to 2008, then turned senior at BPI Slavija, where he played 31 matches and scored three goals. A loan to Šumadija Jagnjilo became a permanent move, then came a single season at Zemun — 23 matches, six goals, the most productive return of his career. Borac Čačak gave him four years and 88 league appearances; Vojvodina, which he joined in January 2016, gave him another 67 and five goals.

Çaykur Rizespor paid around €400,000 for him in October 2020 and played him four times in the league before loaning him to Tobol in Kazakhstan the following February. The club took up its option to sign him permanently, and he won the Kazakhstan Premier League in 2021 and the Super Cup in 2021 and 2022.

At FC Astana, signed in December 2022, he was loaned to AE Kifisia in Greece in 2024, seven appearances and a goal, and another to FC Kyzylzhar, eleven appearances. He came home in January 2025 with Čukarički, where he played 32 league matches.

A defensive midfielder, left-footed, he joined Mladost Lučani from Čukarički in July 2026. He has no senior caps for Serbia.
