About the player
Daniel Naumov did not take the direct route into Bulgarian football.
Signing for CSKA 1948 as a free agent in the summer of 2019, Naumov established himself as the club's first-choice goalkeeper and went on to make 108 league appearances over five seasons, including the campaign the team spent in the Second League before returning to the top flight, as well as European fixtures.
In September 2024 he moved to Greece, joining OFI Crete as a free agent, though his time in the Super League was brief and limited to seven matches.
He has since won 12 caps for the national team.
