Darko Dodev

Darko Dodev has spent most of his career moving between clubs in his native North Macedonia, with his longest spell coming at Sileks, where he turned out across two separate stints. One moment from that time still stands out: on 30 October 2019, playing for Sileks against Shkupi in the Macedonian Cup, he scored from long range, a goal remembered by local outlet Gol.mk. Across his second run at the club, from 2024 to 2026, he made 63 appearances and scored 15 times.

His path also took him briefly outside the country. In January 2024 he joined Vllaznia in Albania on a free transfer, making 11 appearances without scoring before returning home the same month to sign for Shkupi. That short, unsettled stretch gave way to a return to Sileks later that year, where his form picked back up.

Dodev came through North Macedonia's youth set-ups, earning three caps at Under-17 level in 2014 and two more at Under-19 level in 2016 and 2017. He had to wait until May 2026 for his first senior international call-up, winning a single cap in a friendly.

In July 2026 he moved abroad again, joining Altay Oskemen in Kazakhstan on a free transfer. He has made 13 appearances for the club so far, scoring once, on a contract that runs to the end of December 2026.
