About the player
The move that took David Stojanović to Radnik Surdulica in 2024 cost nothing: he arrived as a free agent, out of contract after a season with Jagodina.
He came through at Spartak Subotica, playing in the club's under-19 side across the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. The step up came in December 2021, when he made his first-team debut. His spell on the books at Subotica was short — July 2021 to July 2022 — and it ended almost as soon as it had properly begun.
What followed was a return to the town he came from. In June 2022 he joined FK SFS Borac Paraćin on loan for the 2022/23 season, a full year that ran to the end of June 2023. The record of that season is thin: the appearance figures from his time at Borac are not available.
Back from the loan, he signed for GFK Jagodina for 2023/24. A year later he was at Surdulica.
He has not been capped by the senior Serbia national team. Some databases attach Danish youth international appearances to a David Stojanović; those belong to a different footballer, born in 2009 and on the books at Silkeborg IF. He is Serbian, and has played no senior international football.
