Elguja Lobjanidze

Elguja Lobjanidze has built his career on the road, moving through Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Uzbekistan before arriving at Zhenys. He later topped the scoring charts again at Kaisar in Kazakhstan, confirming that his finishing travelled well.

The move to Kazakhstan proved the most productive stretch of his career. At Tobol Kostanay he won both the Kazakhstan Championship and the Kazakhstan Super Cup in 2021. His transfer from Georgia to Russia, when he joined Orenburg in 2017, was reported at a fee of €1.5 million, though the figure has been disputed; most of his later moves, by contrast, came on free transfers.

At international level, Lobjanidze has earned caps for Georgia since making his debut in 2017, though he has yet to find the net for the national side. His playing career has taken him far beyond Europe, with spells in China at Meizhou Hakka and Heilongjiang Ice City, and in Uzbekistan with Qizilqum. At Zhenys, he scored four goals in 12 matches before a move to Altay VKO in June 2026, where he took shirt number 29.
