About the player
The team finished fourth.
He came through the academy at Independiente between 2002 and 2008. The professional career began at Olimpo , where in 2010 he won the Primera B Nacional and carried the club back into the top flight. Then a loan spell in Chile with Unión La Calera in 2018.
The move that defined him came in July 2018, when he signed for Racing Club . He left as one of the most decorated players in the club's history: the Argentine title in 2018/19, the Trofeo de Campeones de la Superliga in 2019, the Trofeo de Campeones de la Liga Profesional in 2022, the Supercopa Internacional in 2023, the Copa Sudamericana in 2024 and the Recopa Sudamericana in 2025. Conmebol named him in its team of the 2024 Copa Sudamericana.
His Chile debut came on 4 June 2018, a friendly against Serbia won 1-0, and he kept a clean sheet. By September 2024 he had 19 caps.
His Racing contract expired in December 2025 and he left the club. On 2 January 2026 he joined Newell's Old Boys as a free agent.
