About the player
Heri Hjalt Mohr came through the ranks at HB Tórshavn, making his first-team debut in 2013, and the club has been the constant thread running through a career that has otherwise moved in a loop out to the Faroese league and back again. A loan spell at TB Tvøroyri in 2016 gave him regular football before he returned to HB, then left for AB Argir in 2019, where he scored three goals in a single season.
Mohr came back to HB for a second spell in 2020 and settled into the side over the following years as the club won three straight Faroese championships between 2021 and 2023. He played 22 league matches in the title-winning 2021 season and also featured as HB lifted the Faroese Cup that year.
He made his debut for the Faroe Islands on 1 September 2021, coming on as a substitute in a World Cup qualifier against Israel. He went on to make further appearances off the bench against Denmark and Israel later that year, without adding a goal at that level. Before that, he had represented the Faroe Islands at under-17 level.
A move to IF Føroyar followed before he returned once again to HB Tórshavn in 2026, now wearing the number 15 shirt. Each move within the Faroese game, and the switch to Strømmen, came without a transfer fee.
