Haiqing Cao

Cao Haiqing came up through the Hangzhou Greentown academy before his career began in earnest on loan at Wenzhou Provenza in 2011. He returned to Hangzhou Greentown and spent five seasons there, making 40 appearances, before a move to Jiangsu Suning in February 2017. A loan spell at Kunshan followed in 2020, then a switch to Nanjing City in April 2021, where he scored his first senior goal in 22 appearances.

His most productive spell came at Yunnan Yukun, where across 2023 and 2024 he made 45 appearances and scored twice, having also had a shorter stint at Cangzhou Mighty Lions in between. In January 2025 he joined Dalian Yingbo, formerly known as Dalian Zhixing. By the end of 2025 he had reached 200 league appearances in his career, with three goals to his name, alongside 20 National Cup appearances.

At international level, Cao represented China at youth level rather than with the senior side. He earned 12 caps for the China under-19 team, scoring once, and added five caps for the under-23s between 2014 and 2015. He has not featured for the senior national team.
