Ícaro Cosmo da Rocha

Icaro's playing story started at Coritiba, where he came through the youth ranks and won the Paraná state under-20 title twice before breaking into the first team in 2014. First-team minutes stayed scarce there, and by 2016 he was managing only occasional appearances, which set the pattern for the years that followed: a long run of loans and short-term moves across Brazil's lower divisions, from Londrina and Maringá to Santo André, Tombense and Mirassol, often shifting between central defence and a holding midfield role depending on what each side needed.

A more settled spell came at ABC, where he made 40 appearances and helped the club win the Campeonato Potiguar and secure promotion to Serie B, one of the clearer team successes on his record. He had already logged regular football at Grêmio Esportivo Brasil, playing 37 Serie B matches in 2021, before further stints at Remo and Sampaio Corrêa in 2023.

Confiança signed him at the start of 2026, and he has since become a fixture in the side. Through August he had made 17 appearances in Serie C, scoring three goals to rank among the club's leading scorers in the competition, alongside five outings in the Campeonato Sergipano and four in the Copa do Brasil. He also featured in the Copa do Nordeste, including a match away to Fortaleza on 5 August.

Confiança now wear the number four on his back, a role that has taken him from academy football in Joinville through more than a decade of moves before settling, for now, in Sergipe.
