About the player
Sent on loan to Atlético Ottawa in March 2025, he made just two appearances before the club went on to win the 2025 Canadian Premier League title.
Moreno came through Querétaro's youth system before moving into Atlético San Luis's under-23 side and then into Club América's academy. He made his senior debut for América in April 2022 and made two league appearances for the club before leaving in 2023, without scoring.
He rejoined Atlético San Luis that June as a free agent, playing 20 league matches and scoring once. That spell was interrupted by the loan to Ottawa, and when it ended in June 2025 he was back in San Luis only briefly before going out on loan again, this time to Puebla.
Born in Celaya, he has not yet been called up to Mexico's senior national team.
