About the player
Before he had a senior league season behind him, he had already won something: the Reykjavik Cup in 2018, taken with Ungmennafélagið Fjölnir.
Fjölnir was where the professional career proper began, across the 2020–2021 season. It ended in the middle of a winter. On 17 February 2022 he moved to Stjarnan. No fee was disclosed, which is the norm for transfers inside Iceland, and he has stayed at the club ever since.
The other line of his early career ran through the Iceland youth sides. He collected five caps at under-17 level, then two at under-19 and one at under-21. He has not appeared for the senior national team.
He plays off his right foot, and at 173 cm and 65 kg he is not built to win the ball in the air; he offers on the ground.
