About the player
Two goals in a promotion play-off semi-final against Real Madrid Castilla marked a significant night for Sabadell. They were part of a run of seven goals in his first campaign at the club — five in Primera Federación, two in the play-offs — that ended with promotion to Segunda.
Priego joined Sabadell on 3 July 2025 as a free agent, taking the number 23 shirt. He played 41 matches across the 2025/26 season, 35 of them in the league, for a total of 3,445 minutes, and was in the starting line-up week after week. On 17 August 2026 he started the opening fixture of the Segunda season away to Sporting Gijón, his first appearance at that level. The match finished 0–0.
Priego spent fourteen years in the academy at Gimnàstic de Manresa, from 2004 to 2018, then moved to CE Manresa, where he helped the side reach Tercera División. Girona FC B took him in June 2019 for two seasons; he was listed with Girona's first-team squad in 2020/21 but never appeared in La Liga.
A season at Terrassa FC in Segunda División RFEF followed in 2021/22, then a return to CE Manresa in June 2022. In the summer of 2023 he signed for Zamora CF, again as a free agent, and stayed two years: 66 matches, six goals, and promotion to Primera Federación.
