Jiaowen Han

Han Jiawen came through Shanghai Shenhua's own academy, progressing from the club's U21 side into the first team in 2024. The midfielder, who plays with his left foot, has since won two Super Cup titles with Shenhua, in 2024 and 2025.

First-team minutes have been hard to come by. In the current Super League season he has featured for 21 minutes, a reflection of a squad role still built around breaking through rather than starting. He wears the number 45 shirt, a number more often associated with academy graduates than established regulars, and there is no senior transfer fee attached to his name, in keeping with a career spent entirely within one club's system.

Born in Shangqiu, in China's Henan province, Han represents a generation of Shenhua players developed internally rather than assembled through the transfer market. His market value, while modest by the standards of the Chinese Super League's established names, reflects a player still early in his path rather than one yet to establish himself as a regular.
