K. Mikson

Karlīna Miksone made her senior debut for Latvia in 2015, at the age of 14. She has since won 83 caps and scored 27 goals for the national side, and in 2024 she was named Latvian Women's Footballer of the Year.

Her club career began at Rīgas FS, where she won the Latvian Women's League in each of her four seasons from 2015 to 2018. She stayed in the Latvian league for 2019 with Dinamo Rīga and won it again.

She then left Latvia. In 2020 she played in Iceland's Besta deild kvenna for ÍBV, and in January 2021 she joined Gintra Universitetas in Lithuania. That stay lasted until August, when she moved to Poland and signed for Medyk Konin. She remained there through 2023.

In July 2023 she moved to Czarni Sosnowiec. The club won the Polish Cup in 2024–25, and the Ekstraliga title followed in 2025–26.

Her international record includes a hat-trick against Andorra in the UEFA Women's Nations League in September 2023. She has also played in qualifying for the UEFA Women's Euro (2022 and 2025) and for the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup. The Baltic Cup is a regular fixture in her calendar: she has appeared in the tournament in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025.

Miksone is listed as a midfielder, though she has also been used as a centre forward.
