About the player
Colchester United confirmed Kaion Lisbie's first professional contract on 26 July 2025, moving the midfielder into the club's under-21 setup. At 19, he now competes in the Professional Development League with the age group, part of the academy pathway that continues to feed the first-team squad at the club.
Football runs in the family: Lisbie is the younger brother of professional footballer Kyreece Lisbie. The connection has placed a degree of attention on his development, though the younger Lisbie's own progress at Colchester has been built through the academy ranks rather than any inherited reputation.
Lisbie operates in midfield.
