Kerem Açıkgöz has not yet made his first-team debut for Pendikspor, but the club has already started giving him a taste of matchday. The midfielder, born in Darıca, was named among the substitutes for the game against Ümraniyespor, which finished goalless, though he did not come off the bench. Turkish media covering the club's youth pipeline note plainly that he "has not yet featured in a match" for the senior side.

His path into the Pendikspor system began early. According to the Turkish Football Federation, he received his first player licence from the club in February 2020, at the age of eleven, registered under the country's youth licensing category for young prospects. He has stayed in the academy ever since, working his way up through the ranks to the club's Under-19 side, which competes in the U19 Elit B Ligi.

At youth level, his output has picked up noticeably between seasons. After a limited run of appearances the previous year, he became a regular fixture for the U19s, taking part in ten matches and contributing five goals and two assists.

For now, Açıkgöz remains a step below the first team, part of the broader group of academy graduates Pendikspor draws on for matchday squads without yet handing out senior minutes.
