About the player
Kyrylo Sigeev won the 2024 Toulon Tournament with Ukraine's Olympic under-23 side. It is the achievement that stands out in a career made up so far of loan spells away from Shakhtar Donetsk.
Born in Horlivka, he joined the Shakhtar academy in 2017 and stayed until 2021. He made his UEFA Youth League debut that September. The first-team debut followed in April 2022, when he was handed a place in a friendly against Fenerbahçe.
The loans began at Oleksandriya in 2023–24, where he played 37 matches. Chornomorets Odesa came next in 2024–25, and he played 14 matches there. In 2025–26 he moved abroad to Tatran Prešov in Slovakia. In 2024 the CIES Football Observatory included him in its ranking of the 100 most experienced players under 20 in European championships.
For Ukraine he has played at three youth levels: three caps for the under-19s, four for the under-21s and eight for the under-23s.
Sigeev remains registered with Shakhtar. He joined Kudrivka on loan on 2 August 2026, and the agreement runs until 30 June 2027.
