About the player
The move that took Leard Sadriu out of Kosovo came early. He learned the game at KF Ferizaj in his home city and left in July 2018 for KF Shkëndija across the border in North Macedonia.
What followed was three league titles. Sadriu was part of the Shkëndija squad that won the Macedonian First League in 2017–18, 2018–19 and 2020–21, and the Macedonian Cup in 2017–18. The loan that gave him regular football came in January 2021, when he joined KF Skënderbeu Korçë in Albania: 51 appearances, one goal, and a run to the 2020–21 Albanian Cup final.
He went back to Shkëndija in 2022, but stayed only months. In September that year he signed for NŠ Mura in Slovenia on a free transfer, and the three seasons there gave him 71 league appearances, one goal.
Sadriu's contract at Mura expired in 2025, and in May he moved to FC Argeș Pitești in Romania, again on a free. He has been a regular since: 41 league appearances by August 2026, and three goals.
Internationally he came through the Kosovo age groups, playing at U17, U19 and U21 level between 2017 and 2022. His senior debut came on 16 November 2022, in a friendly against Armenia. He has two caps.
