About the player
Lasha Ugrekhelidze started out at Sioni Bolnisi, making his senior debut there in 2019 and spending three years in the club's system across the Erovnuli Liga and Erovnuli Liga 2. A move to FC Gareji Sagarejo followed in the summer of 2022.
His path since then has moved quickly: a brief stint at Shturmi Tbilisi on a free transfer in mid-2024 was followed, within six months, by another free move, this time to Meshakhte Tkibuli at the start of 2025. It is at Meshakhte, wearing the number 40 shirt, that he has had his busiest campaign to date, appearing 19 times in the 2025/2026 season and playing over 1,600 minutes. He has also chipped in with a goal from the back.
