Leonardo Felipe Valencia Rossel

Two seasons stand out in Leonardo Valencia's later career. At Cobresal in 2023 and 2024 he scored 15 goals in 51 matches; joining Audax Italiano as a free agent in 2025, he matched that tally of 15 in just 26 appearances.

He came through the academy at Universidad de Chile and spent 2008 to 2011 in the club's system, with loan spells that brought a single appearance each at Deportes Melipilla and Unión La Calera. The move to Unión La Calera became permanent in 2012, and he played 34 matches there, scoring once.

Palestino gave him his first sustained run: 80 matches and 23 goals between 2013 and 2017. He was loaned out twice in that spell, to Santiago Wanderers in 2014, where he scored five times in 16 matches, and back to Universidad de Chile for 2015 and 2016, where he added four goals in 16 games and won the Copa Chile and the Supercopa in 2015.

In 2017 he moved to Brazil with Botafogo, playing 61 official matches and scoring four goals. He won the Campeonato Carioca with the club in 2018. Returning to Chile at the end of 2019, he signed for Colo-Colo, making 31 appearances and scoring six goals, and won the Copa Chile in 2019. A loan at Deportes La Serena in 2021 and 2022 produced 11 goals in 30 matches.

Chile handed him a debut on 6 October 2016 against Ecuador, a 3-0 defeat. He won nine caps and scored once, in a 3-2 friendly loss to Romania on 13 June 2017. That summer he was part of the squad that finished runner-up at the Confederations Cup, appearing against Cameroon and Germany.

He played 18 matches for Deportes Concepción in the first half of 2026, scoring once, before joining Deportes Limache on 15 July in an exchange involving Juan Montesinos.
