About the player
Since 2018, Lechi Sadulaev has known only one club shirt. Born in the village of Tsentaroy, he came up through the Ramzan football academy in Grozny before joining Akhmat's youth ranks, and every senior appearance he has made since has come in the club's colours. Approaches from CSKA Moscow and Zenit were reported in the press over the years, but neither materialised, and Sadulaev has stayed put.
He made his Russian Premier League debut against Arsenal Tula on 11 December 2018, and it took until April 2021 for his first league goal to arrive, against Ural.
The connection with the club has been formalised more than once. In 2023 the general director, Akhmed Aidamirov, said Sadulaev's contract carried an automatic extension clause and that he would remain at Akhmat.
He has continued to produce moments that catch attention: in a Premier League fixture against Rostov in August 2026, Sadulaev scored and set up two further goals, a performance that earned him the match's best-player award. He has also been picked out as Akhmat's player of the month for October by the club's fans.
