Luís Pinto

Luís Teixeira Pinto — known at Braga as Luisinho — made his first-team debut on 26 April 2026. Braga won 2-1, and he was thrown straight into a starting role, playing the full 90 minutes and setting up Rodrigo Zalazar for a goal.

The club is where he grew up as a player. He signed his first professional contract with Braga in February 2025, running until 2028, after working his way through the academy's youth ranks. The Sub-19 side he played for won the Portuguese championship in the 2023/24 season.

His breakthrough season, 2025/26, was built mostly away from the first team. He scored ten goals and added an assist in fourteen matches for Braga's Sub-23 side, form that also earned him nine appearances for Braga B in Liga 3. Braga deploy him as an attacking midfielder off the right. By the end of the season he had three appearances for the senior side, with the assist against Santa Clara his only contribution on the scoresheet so far.

Football runs in the family: his father, also named Luís Pinto, played for Benfica and later moved into coaching.
