Mamadi Caba Camará

Camará's first goal for Reading came in the EFL Cup against Millwall on 8 August 2023. The debut itself had arrived early: on 9 January 2021, in an FA Cup tie against Luton Town. That deal followed on 3 February 2021 and ran only to the summer of 2022.

He had come to England from Portugal, where he spent his youth years at C.D. Feirense until 2020. Reading's academy took him that year, and he stayed six seasons. The final tally was 75 appearances and seven goals, of which 52 and four came in the league.

Reading announced on 5 May 2026 that he would leave when his contract expired at the end of the following month. Kayserispor of the TFF 1. Lig confirmed an agreement on 15 July 2026, a free transfer on a two-year contract to 30 June 2028.

With Guinea-Bissau he has been used sparingly. His debut, on 23 March 2022 against Equatorial Guinea, brought him the man-of-the-match award. By September 2025 he had eight caps and no goals.

An attacking midfielder who also plays wide, right-footed, he wears number 28 in Kayseri. He has donated equipment to ADR Mansabá, the club of the town he comes from. No major honours yet, at club or individual level.
