Martin Jedlička

Martin Jedlička made his senior international bow in November 2025, coming on for the Czech Republic against San Marino in a match his side won 1-0 — a first cap that arrived after years of working through the youth ranks, from the under-16s up to under-20 level.

He came through Příbram's own academy, though the path there ran through two of Prague's biggest clubs first: a spell training with Sparta as a boy, then several years at Slavia, before he returned to Příbram and settled into its youth setup, playing in the club's run in the UEFA Youth League. He made his first-team debut there in 2016.

A move to Mladá Boleslav followed in 2017, and his time there produced an odd distinction: an own goal he put past Sparta Prague that season stands as the first goal in Czech top-flight history confirmed by video review.

Jedlička then left for Slovakia, joining DAC Dunajská Streda first on loan and then permanently, a stretch that ran from 2018 to 2022. He was named to the Slovak Superliga's Under-21 Team of the Season for 2019/20 during that spell.

Viktoria Plzeň signed him in 2022, though first-team opportunities there were mixed with loan spells at Bohemians 1905 across two seasons. Across his time in Plzeň colours, in all competitions, he played 88 matches and kept 35 clean sheets.

In January 2026 he joined Baník Ostrava on a six-month loan with an option to buy.
