About the player
Amevor was born in Rotterdam and came up through the Dutch academy system at ASV-DWV, EDS, RKSV Leonidas and SC Feijenoord before turning professional. His senior career began at FC Dordrecht in 2010, and he left for Go Ahead Eagles in 2013, then returned to Dordrecht in 2016.
That English chapter came in July 2015, when Notts County signed him. It did not work out: the contract was terminated less than a year later, in June 2016, sending Amevor back to the Netherlands and back to Dordrecht.
In 2018 he joined Moroccan side Chabab Rif Al Hoceima, then in 2019 tried his hand in Asian football, first at Thailand's Chonburi, where he did not make an official appearance, and then at Indonesian club Persela Lamongan, for whom he played 12 matches.
In 2020, Amevor signed for FC Eindhoven and stayed for four seasons. On 21 June 2024, he moved to FC Volendam, where he was given the number 3 shirt.
Internationally, Amevor represents Togo, having made his debut for the national team in 2014. He has gone on to earn more than a dozen caps without scoring.
