Mykola Vechurko

Fourteen matches, seven goals. That was Mykola Vechurko's return during the 2025–26 season, on loan at Chaika Petropavlivska Borshchahivka. In the summer of 2026 he went back to Kudrivka on a free transfer.

Kudrivka won promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League in June 2025, beating Vorskla Poltava in the playoff matches. Vorskla is also the club where Vechurko began his senior career. Back at Kudrivka, he has played once in the top flight so far, without scoring.

The route to that point ran through several countries. Vechurko came through Sportive School No. 15 in Kyiv from 2002 and spent 2007 at Vidradnyi Kyiv. He joined Vorskla for the 2009–10 season, then moved to Arsenal Kyiv, where he stayed until 2013. Hoverla Uzhhorod followed, and in 2015 he went on loan to Hirnyk-Sport Komsomolsk.

He then left Ukraine for Turkmenistan and Ahal, staying until 2016. After a spell at Ternopil, he played for Utenis Utena in Lithuania in 2017. That year he moved on to Sumy, where he scored three goals in 40 matches over two seasons.

Chaika has been his most frequent stop. He first played there in 2019 and 2020 and returned in 2022–23, before the loan that produced his seven goals. Between those spells came Nyva Buzova in 2024.

Vechurko is a right-footed forward. His Premier League season with Kudrivka is only beginning.
