Olawale Samuel Farayola arrived at Alashkert from Turkish football before moving to Armenia in the summer of 2025. Before that he had played for Kwara United in his native Nigeria. He grew up in the country's Flying Eagles system, representing Nigeria at under-20 level, though he has not featured for the senior national side.

At Alashkert the Nigerian forward has been used as a right winger. Since joining, he has established himself as a regular fixture in the side, appearing in the majority of Alashkert's league matches. He has also featured for the club in the Conference League.
