About the player
Oğuzhan Aydoğan spent four years at Beşiktaş without establishing himself in the first team. Even so, the club was where he first made a mark in Turkey. He scored on his debut for the U-21 side against Karabükspor U-21, and in late 2016 he was named among the substitutes for Turkish Cup ties against Darıca Gençlerbirliği and Kayserispor. Most of his time there was spent in the U-21 Süper Lig. Reports at the time linked him with offers from seven countries.
His route to Istanbul began in Germany. He started out at TSV Marl-Hüls, moved to the Schalke 04 academy and stayed there until 2014. He then joined Borussia Dortmund's youth set-up, where he won the Westphalia Cup in 2015. In 2016 he won both the German U-19 League and the U-19 West League. Between 2011 and 2014 he also played for Germany at three youth levels: four caps and one goal for the U-15s, eight caps and two goals for the U-16s, and nine caps and one goal for the U-17s.
After a short spell with Borussia Dortmund II in the summer of 2016, Beşiktaş signed him for €200,000. He went on loan to Karlsruher SC in the 3. Liga.
When he left Beşiktaş he signed for Alemannia Aachen on a free transfer in November 2020. Ankaraspor, Menemen FK and Düzcespor followed, each on a free transfer. He then moved to North Macedonia, playing for KF Gostivari in 2024–25, and later had short stints at KF Bashkimi 1947 and FK Makedonija GP.
In July 2026 he returned to Turkey, signing for Ümraniyespor on a free transfer for the 2026–27 season.
