About the player
Pau Víctor Delgado signed for FC Barcelona in the summer of 2024. Spain's financial fair-play rules blocked his registration for the first half of the 2024/25 season, and only in January 2025 was he cleared to appear.
He came through the academy at Girona. Girona B won the Segunda Federación in the 2022/23 season. A loan spell at Barcelona Atlètic in 2023/24 produced his best scoring form, and he finished that season as top scorer in the Primera Federación.
In July 2025 he left Barcelona for Sporting Braga, in a deal worth up to €15m including bonuses, and was handed the number 10 shirt on arrival. He quickly established himself as a key attacking option in Portugal, scoring ten league goals and five more in the Europa League during the 2025/26 season.
Víctor has never been called up to Spain's senior side, having represented the country only at youth level. In 2025 he began playing for Catalonia, starting in a 2-0 win over Costa Rica on 28 May that year.
