About the player
The goal Reece Cole is still remembered for at Exeter came in March 2025, against Luton Town, and it earned him the club's goal of the month award before the League One panel gave him the competition-wide honour for April as well.
He came through the academy at Hayes & Yeading United before Brentford signed him in 2016, and he made only a single senior appearance for the club itself. A move to Queens Park Rangers in 2021 followed the same pattern, with no first-team football to show for it, and he went on to turn out for Dunfermline Athletic, Chertsey Town and a second spell at Hayes & Yeading before Exeter took him on.
A run of injuries and illness cut into his second season, restricting him to 27 games, but he returned to full fitness for 2025/26 and again reached seven goals from 39 appearances, adding four assists along the way.
He has not been capped at any level for England's junior sides.
