About the player
On 25 February 2026, Kapuadi left Legia Warszawa for Widzew Łódź for €2 million plus €1 million in add-ons — up to €3 million in total. The deal was reported as the most expensive transfer between two Polish clubs in Ekstraklasa history, breaking the record previously held by Tomasz Pieńka. Legia kept a percentage of any future fee, and a solidarity payment went to Wisła Płock.
Kapuadi came through youth football in France with Le Mans FC and Angers SCO , then moved to Belgium and the academy of SV Zulte Waregem . His senior years began in the reserves at K.A.A. Gent , followed by spells at FK Inter Bratislava and AS Trenčín in Slovakia. Wisła Płock signed him in June 2022, and Legia did the same in August 2023, handing him a three-year contract.
In Warsaw he won the Puchar Polski in 2024/25 and the Superpuchar Polski in 2025. He chose the DR Congo national team and made his debut on 8 June 2025 in a 3–1 friendly win over Madagascar. Six caps followed by mid-2026, with no goals.
