Strahinja Pavlović

Strahinja Pavlović was six years old when he started out at Savacium Šabac, his hometown club in Serbia. Partizan picked him up for their youth system in 2015, and after a loan spell at affiliate side FK Teleoptik he signed his first professional contract in September 2018. He made his senior debut in a 3–0 win over Proleter Novi Sad in February 2019 and went on to win the Serbian Cup with Partizan that same season, before a €10 million move took him to AS Monaco in December 2019.

The Monaco years were unsettled. Pavlović was sent out on loan twice, first to Cercle Brugge and then to FC Basel, before a permanent switch to Red Bull Salzburg in July 2022 for €7 million. Salzburg proved the right fit: he won the Austrian Bundesliga with the club in the 2022–23 season.

AC Milan signed him in July 2024 for an initial €18 million, a fee that could rise to €25 million with add-ons, on a contract running until 2028. He added the Supercoppa Italiana to his honours in his first season at the club.

Pavlović has become a regular for Serbia, with 57 caps and five goals. He played all three group games at the 2022 World Cup, scoring against Cameroon, and started every group match again at Euro 2024. His physical profile has shown up in the data too: during a Champions League appearance for Milan he was clocked at a top speed of 34.77 km/h.
