Saulo Mineiro

Saulo Mineiro's career is a story of movement. After coming through the youth ranks at Uberlândia and América Mineiro, the forward began senior football at Uberlândia before a string of loans took him to Uberaba, Araxá, Tupi and CRAC in quick succession. It was at Volta Redonda that his career found its first real shape, and he won the Copa Rio with the club before Ceará gave him his first taste of a bigger stage.

From Ceará, Saulo Mineiro moved abroad, joining Yokohama FC in a deal worth €600,000 for 80% of his economic rights. He spent two seasons in Japan before returning to Ceará, where he won the Campeonato Cearense in 2024. That title proved to be the platform for his move to Shanghai Shenhua in 2025, a transfer worth €0.92 million, and he added the Chinese FA Super Cup to his list of honours in his first year with the Chinese club.

His time in China did not run its full course. In September 2026, Saulo Mineiro rescinded his contract with Shanghai Shenhua and returned to Ceará on a free transfer, closing the loop on a career that has repeatedly brought him back to the Brazilian club.

Across his career, the forward has made 239 appearances and scored 61 goals. He has not featured for Brazil at any international level.
