Songyi Li

Songyi Li's career was reshaped by a series of moves. He joined Shandong Youth in 2011 and was promoted to Shandong Luneng Taishan's first team the following year, staying with the club until 2021 and winning the Chinese FA Cup with them in 2014. Two loan spells punctuated that long stint, first to Guangzhou R&F in 2020 and then to Tianjin Jinmen Tiger in 2021, before he left Shandong for good.

He joined Kunshan FC on a free transfer in 2022. That season, Kunshan won the China League One title while setting divisional records for both points total and number of wins. Li then moved on again, joining Henan FC on a free transfer in 2023 and later switching to Yunnan Yukun in 2025, before signing for Shanghai Shenhua as a free agent.

A right-footed centre-back, Li built an international résumé at youth level rather than with the senior side. He was capped 13 times for China's under-20 side between 2010 and 2012 and added eight further appearances for the under-23s, representing the country at the Granatkin Memorial, the Toulon Tournament and the Weifang Cup, all in 2011. He has not featured for the senior national team.
