About the player
Mijailović has left Red Star Belgrade twice and come back once. He came through the club's youth academy and made his senior debut in the 2010–11 season, winning the Serbian Cup in 2011–12.
Kayserispor paid around €0.6 million for him in 2013 and used him for four seasons — 78 league appearances, one goal. He joined Krylia Sovetov Samara on a free transfer in February 2017. There he was removed from the roster in February 2019, reinstated that July, and in May 2020 the club chose not to extend his contract. He was without a club until late October, when FK Čukarički signed him.
Serbia first capped him on 31 May 2012, in a friendly against France, when he was eighteen. Eight caps have followed. Dragan Stojković named him in the squad for UEFA Euro 2024 , where he wore number 16 and played in the group match against Denmark; Serbia finished fourth in their group.
A month after the tournament he moved to Al Wasl of the UAE Pro League for €1.2 million.
