Taras Bondarenko

Taras Bondarenko has spent his career moving on free transfers.

He came up at Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, joining the academy in his home city in 2008 and spending four years with the reserve side, Metalurh-2. Fifty-nine appearances and two goals there did not translate into a single official senior match for the club in the Ukrainian Premier League. He left in 2014 for Poltava, and a loan spell at Avangard Kramatorsk in 2015–16 gave him twenty games and a goal.

Serbia turned the career around. Partizan won the cup final that year.

Three games at Kaspiy in early 2020, sixteen at Okzhetpes later that year, then a longer return to Kaspiy — 52 appearances through 2022. Serbia again in 2023 with Radnik Surdulica, seventeen games, two goals, before Trenčín signed him that July and kept him until early 2025. He joined Železiarne Podbrezová in the first weeks of that year and went out on loan to Tatran Prešov in September for the 2025–26 season.

Bondarenko, who is the son of the former professional Roman Bondarenko , has not won a league title or a cup, and has not played for the Ukraine senior side.
