Walter Uriel Mazzantti

Walter Mazzantti scores with either foot, and the 2026 season put numbers on it: seven goals with his right, three with his left. No major database records which one he favours.

He came out of Tigre, where he was on the books from 2016 to 2018 and made his first-team debut in his opening year. A loan to Comunicaciones followed in 2017. In the summer of 2018 he joined Atlanta as a free agent and stayed two seasons.

The move that changed his standing came in 2023, when he returned to Argentina with Huracán for a fee reported at around 0.7–1 million US dollars. Two years later Independiente paid 3.5 million dollars for him, with Maestro Puch heading the other way on loan.

In 2026 he arrived at Newell's Old Boys on loan from Independiente, at a reported fee of roughly 87,000 euros for the season. He has played 15 matches in all competitions for the club — 14 in the Liga Profesional and one in the Copa Argentina — with two goals and two assists.

Across his career he has made 242 appearances, scoring 31 goals and setting up 28. What the record does not yet show is silverware: he has won no league title or cup with any of his clubs. Nor has he been called up by Argentina at senior level; there has been no debut for the national team.
