Yang Mingrui

Yang Mingrui made his senior debut on 13 July 2024, in a 2-0 league win over Suzhou Dongwu, just days after joining Dalian Yingbo on a free transfer. The move came after Dalian Pro, the club where he had spent five years in the youth ranks and captained his age group, was dissolved in January 2024. He signed with Dalian Yingbo that July on a contract running until July 2027.

Yang plays as a midfielder, though he has also featured on the wing, and wears number 27. He came through Dalian Pro's academy from 2019, competing in the China Youth Football League before the club's collapse forced a fresh start elsewhere. Dalian Yingbo itself has changed identity several times, having been founded as Dalian Duxing before later being renamed, and the club won promotion to the Chinese Super League for the 2025 season.

At youth international level, Yang has represented China at under-17, under-19 and under-20 level. He started for the China U19 side against Colombia U19 at the Maurice Revello Tournament in France, and went on to make two appearances for the U20s at the same competition. He has also found the net for his country's youth teams, scoring twice against Australia at the Yiwu International Tournament and once in a friendly against Uzbekistan.

Still a teenager when he broke into Dalian Yingbo's first team, Yang has continued to combine his club football with his commitments to the national youth teams.
