Admira Praha

Kobylisy gave its name to a football side in 1909, when local players registered as SK Meteor Kobylisy. Incorporation into Greater Prague brought a rename to SK Praha XVI in 1920, then SK Praha VIII in 1931. Under the post-war communist reorganisation of sport, the club merged with SK Admira VIII in 1948 and took the name TJ Dynamo-vozovna Praha — Admira borrowed from the Austrian club of the same name as a nod, with no organisational tie between the two. The Prague Spring restored the old identity in 1968 as TJ Admira Praha 8, and the club became TJ Admira Kobylisy a decade later. A 1992 merger with TJ Slavoj Praha 7 produced FK Admira/Slavoj, before FK Admira Praha returned in 2006, the name it still carries.

The club plays in black and white, and the crest and the terraces both call it Černobílí koně — the Black-White horses. Home games are at the Stadion Na Pecích, 2,000 capacity, 700 of it seated. Relegated from the Bohemian Football League in 2015, the club returned to that third tier in 2019 and has stayed there since.

Josef Forejt was the playing-coach who took the side up in 1960.
